For one of the Greatest Movies of All time, I felt yes the story should have been written with much better quality! I am not A Writer but even I could have come up with A Much Better quality remake than this! You cannot replace Kurt & Goldie by far! I have Watched the Original Overboard hundreds of times & Never tire from the Original Overboard, But this one I will not watch again! I give it A 4 Because I Loved the kids! It was cute the Movie but it Could have been So much Better! Rock on Kurt & Goldie they Bombed this Movie 4 Sure!

When it comes to a movie review I never listen or read them because I can make up my own judgement on a film. I already know you can't make it better then the original film when remaking a movie. Yes, it is funny and can't hate it is a good movie. I would pick original movie over this one but the film twist isn't the roles change but now you added in a different cultural into the mix. If you are going to try to compare the OG to the new there isn't really one. You can't hate on this film really. There will never be anything better then the OG film but this wasn't bad I would watch it again.

Not as good as the first in any way. The movie comes with purpose. Some scenes let you know you're foolish and privileged, then others make sure you understand that you're expected to speak Spanish by now. Once you get past annoying stuff like that, it's a cookie cutter romcom that's not terrible. The main guy is fun to watch but a terrible actor.
