This movie is terrible. Misogyny on steroids. The fact that this was directed by a woman makes this a case study in internalized hatred. I can't say I'm surprised Lee Daniels executive produced this rubbish. Pimps aren't that cool to begin with. When will Hollywood stop glorifying this dysfunctional lifestyle. Add to that, in this film we watch a black, queer woman perpetuate toxic masculinity and abuse of other women. The film title should be changed to Misogynoir. Look it up.

Ok...so let me understand. You have Black lesbian pimp in the Bronx. ok with a white chick?!? Ohhh, I get it so a Black woman is only good for pimping and throwing some money at to get a lap dance and sleep with only once. But, if this Black leabian pimp wants "Loovve", she's got to and can only get the love from a white girl. Really?!? Really?!? This movie is sooo negative, in so many ways... unfortunately too many Black people, especially young Black women, are too blind to see it.

WHY???? we need not one more movie about pimps, hoes, or slavery. Why doesn't some one make a movie about life before the transatlantic slave trade. I think every one gets it lets move on from this genre.
