Wow, just wow, I think I have just seen the best Tamil film ever. This is a great mystery that keeps you rooting for the underdog family against police brutality. Such a great story! It's a tad slow the first 30 minutes, but picks up fast and keeps you engaged the rest of the way. All the characters play their parts very well including the side characters. There is no bad acting to be found here. A must watch if you love a good mystery and a good story, something rare in Tamil cinema these days. Family friendly though there is some violence with the police being brutal, but nothing gross or gory.

Only Kamalahassan can outdo himself every time. The cast, the script, the screenplay are perfect. It had a bit more of masala around overthinking from the police, a shoddy police investigation, but I think given the readiness our Indian police, pretty much a correct reflection.
