About this movie

When the eccentric girl next door runs away just before graduation, her lovesick neighbor sets out to find her. Toward that end, he tries to learn as much about her as possible, but in reality he learns a great deal more about himself than the mercurial object of his unrequited affection.

For those hating on this and saying the ending is disappointing, sure I get that it's not your typical happy/ sappy love story but that's the point! It's realistic, even though there's a massive twist and you don't expect what's happening John Green portrays love in a realistic way. Don't judge it because it's not the norm accept that not everything ends with a Happily ever after..❤

Although I knew the ending before watching the film and as a person who hates cliché endings, I really wish this film did have one as I fell in love with the movie and became so attached to the characters. This is a film that has you hooked from the start and you end up really rooting for the guy even though it doesn't go the right way for him. It shows love in a very realistic way and I highly recommend the film. It may not be your typical love film but this is John Green and he really shows it how it is

It's made me cry at the end and made me think of my own love life and not loosing hope and believing in myself again........ This movie gets a 5 star from me. Keep it up Nat Wolff.
