This movie attacks your sensibilities and deepest fears in the most effective way for producing real terror: Nonchalantly; as-a matter-of -factly. You are a fly on the wall in this film, witnessing the unfolding of very credible demonic manifestation, produced in a new and creative way similar but more frighting than the 'found footage' genre. In short, it scared the absolute hell out of me and my guest. It's promise of something worse than bad delivers with a terrifying & disturbing ending.

I thought I would like this movie because I loved the Blair witch project but this movie was just stupid, slow, and not scary except for the ending sceen. I just don't understand how some people can give this five stars because it is just a overhyped piece of crap and the Blair witch project was much scarier. I may check out the sequels but they may be just as bad. I'll wait and see.

One of my favorites of this franchise, a really good solid horror flick that resurfaces the fear and memories of The Blair Witch Project. A lot of mystery and suspense is delivered in this film. Now if you're one of those people that hates The Blair Witch Project then I wouldn't recommend this to you. If your someone who likes the mystery and suspense of a horror film and not the blood and Gore and a sex scene every five minutes. Then watch this movie, and the other 5 films.
