This 6th installment did amazing. Most people hate it but I will say again like the first 5, this movie also gave more info on the story of the first 5 films. This movie picks up exactly where part 3 left off and gives more of an origin story to the girls and grandma Louis throughout the film. This film also tells you the demons TRUE intentions. The demons appearance is, yes corny, but look at the bright side people...they tried doing something different with this movie. Just because it's a "found footage" movie doesn't mean they can't go all out with it and make it realistic. Because by this point we already know these movies are fake. We've known that since the 1st movie. We've know found footage films have been fake since the Blair witch project. But in my opinion that doesn't stop them from being good or scary if they are done correctly. But anyways as a hardcore horror fanatic here, I must say this film totally delivers everything I could want from a supernatural found footage horror flick. I recommend if you're a fan of the series.

I have, begrudgingly, seen all the Paranormal Activity movies. They all instill a certain amount of suspension of disbelief, which is fine. This one abuses that so much with total nonsense. The characters, flat out, deserve everything that happens, and there is no creativity here. For the pay off of 7 years worth of build up, it is boring at best.

I've watched all of the paranormal activity movies. I'll say that this isn't the best one but isn't bad by any means. The entire movie is riddled with references to previous movies (which makes this movie worth watching). The entire movie leads up to the ending which is by far the best part of the movie. The last scenes were kind of scary but thankfully not many jump scares (as those are cheap ways of making a movie scary and ruin a good movie for me). The ending does leave room for another sequel though.
