I used to watch a lot of arthouse films years ago when I had lots of time and freedom to sit, concentrate, and fully immerse myself in each film. Recently, I've passed on these types films in favour of entertaining blockbusters where I could watch while poking around my smartphone and still not miss out on the story or character development (if any of those were present). Parasite has allowed me to revisit my past hobby and made me realize how much I dearly miss great filmmaking. Thank you.

Is there any other film this year that is so relevant? The social economic gap between the rich and poor is very stark in 2020 and it feels like we've entered a new gilded age. Money and status is king and Parasite does an amazing job of telling a unique story that is relatable despite living in another country. I live in a basement apartment so I felt a connection to Parasite. I don't want to ruin a thing for you so open your mind and jump into this great foreign film.

This is the kind of movie that makes you stay up at night to think over all the details that have been so cleverly added into it. It is definitely worth seeing and as the director of this movie himself said; "if you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be able to enjoy so many more movies" If I could give this movie a 10 star rating I would.
