Wondering how much she can confide in her family, Alike strives to get through adolescence with grace, humor, and tenacity -- sometimes succeeding, sometimes not, but always moving forward.

Absolutely loved this film. The poetry intertwined with the filmography was beautiful and moving, and I think about this film often. This is a film for everyone. Watch this if you liked and understood Moonlight.
