This is so well done and such an amazing insight into gay minority new york circa late 80's. This is education, this is realness, this is fierce!

I just love how everything has a root. The gay/lesbian children now have RuPauls drag race to experience gay culture but this lifestyle has so much history. The lingo and the lifestyle is nothing new and its beautiful to step back in time and be educated.

One of the few documentries that are really true. Hard time watching as many of the ppl I came up knowing and it all seems like another lifetime ago
