Paterson is a bus driver in the city of Paterson, New Jersey - they share the name. This movie is about normal life with characters that feel so real. There is no action and barely any conflict. It's slow on purpose, but you won't lose interest as you care about the daily lives of the characters.

Immaculately made and quite original. One of Jarmusch's best. Superb acting and storytelling.

About as interesting as the description would have you think.
