A dark yet happy comedy, that fights the temptation of following traditional feel good underdog scripts to successfully produce a refreshingly realistic view of hustling hard to catch a break.

I have to say at the surface this is a female 8mile. After the characters developed through the story line it became a truly good film. I fell in love with almost the entire cast.

I loved this movie. It is wonderful and entertaining and sad and heartbreaking all at the same time. Well done, performance check, plot check, twist double check!!
