Acerca de esta película

A critically acclaimed film that won a total of eight Academy Awards® (Including Best Picture), Patton is a riveting portrait of one of the 20th century's greatest military geniuses. George Patton was the only allied general truly feared by the Nazis. Charismatic and flamboyant, Patton designed his own uniforms, sported ivory-handled six-shooters, and believed he was a warrior in past lives. He out-maneuvered Rommel in Africa, and after D-Day led his troops in an unstoppable campaign across Europe.

Don't know how many times watched this film - true classic. Yes, its a war film, but the focus is more on Patton the leader and man. Very cinematic

George C Scott is truly superb. The portrayal of General Patton is breathtaking. The one Allied General feared by the Germans and his love hate relationship with his own side, bring to life a tortured sole who lived for conflict. Scott refused to accept his Oscar for this performance, perhaps testament to the character he portrayed so brilliantly. A must see film.

Was taken aback by the whole story, its subject, although a tough one, was portrayed and handled with amazing clarity. The action was torrid, emotive, gutwrenching, and yes, at times challenging to watch.
