Amazing, so many others gave this thing 4-5 stars. We barely got 20 minutes into it before becoming deadeye bored, and then watched something else. It seriously dragged. The intended jokes or humor were flat. The acting, terrible. The entire script was flat. We didn't laugh once. Perhaps the late John Candy could have knocked this thing out, or at least delivered a decent performance as Blart. Kevin James, not so much.

There are very few moments of slick editing & direction. Showing what he does as a security guard at a mall. The score is very energetic and has great pacing and great focus on this movie. The script on how Paul Blart (by Kevin James) handles the bad guys, and use's strategy. BUT! It's a brainless, boring, weak, empty, unfunny film. The characters are one-dimensional, their performances lack energy & they went from mediocre to bland. As for comedy, there are only 2 momments that tickle's the funny bone, but, the rest is predictable, mindless, and flat (also can be offensive to people who have obessity and blood sugar types). Although the storytelling as the slightest amount of ambition, There is no substance, & the storyline is so thin that it's empty. The 2nd Act and the 3rd Act of the film is just dealing with bad guys & nothing else (exept for an overrated romantic "love story" cliche.). The ingrediant on how to entertain people is also mindless. The film shows how fat people are protrayed, which is very offensive! Not Recommended. ⭐️⭐️
