About this movie

Academy Award winners Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey star with Haley Joel Osment as a struggling single mother, a social studies teacher whose placid life is in perfect order and the student whose class assignment has profound repercussions when, instead of paying it back, the recipient of a kindness must Pay It Forward. The assignment is simple:Look at the world around you and fix what you don't like. #1 It has to be something that really helps people #2 Something they can't do by themselves. #3 Do it for them, and they do it for three other people. But teacher Eugene Simonet (Spacey) never expects one his students to take the assignment to heart, much less the profound, unanticipated effects that Trevor McKinney's (Osment) actions will have on the world around him.

Watched this for a class last year and oh my god. Something everyone should see. But not with a classroom full of loud teenagers like I did

A true story! Excellent movie about love and doing for others and making this world a better plays in the love we demonstrate and show! How are you going to live your mife? The b ext time you act, think about how you are going to love and help others! The s m allest thing that you do can make the biggest difference! But, think again,: "Why can't it be something big in other people's lives that make the biggest difference EVER -- in UNCONDITIONAL LOVE?!

I gave this film 5 stars because it's one that really tugs on the heat strings. Very emotional because it makes you step back and realize what life should be about and really how we should all be willing to step outside of ourselves and help our fellow man. It's just sad that it took a child to do what we adults should be teaching them. This movie really makes you think! :-)
