In a tiny corner of a giant country, a poor farmer stands to lose everything when he is unable to repay a loan. The only way to save his family from poverty is a government scheme that will wipe out all his debts, but which calls for a drastic course of action. When word gets out, it sparks a media frenzy in this riotously entertaining satire of modern-day India, produced by Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan.
