An intense, masterpiece of Korean New Wave, Peppermint Candy is told in reverse, taking the viewers back through 20 years of a Yong-ho, the doomed protagonist's life, while chronicling the sentiments and changes of modern Korea at the same time.

Calificaciones y opiniones

While I appreciate the artistry, I found it slow and uninvolving. I've seen over 250 Korean films and finally got to see this one. I understand it's importance to Korean Cinema but I still found it boring. The main character was flawed, obviously, but not very likable which may have also added to my wanting it to be over sooner than later.

Great, wonderful movie. A must watch, and one of my favorite movies of all time!
