“ディーク”ことカーン郡巡査ジョー・ディーコン（ワシントン）は事件の証拠集めのために、ロサンゼルスに行くことを命じられる。その任務はすぐに片付くはずだったが、彼は街を恐怖に陥れる連続殺人犯の捜索に巻き込まれてしまう。陣頭指揮をとるロサンゼルス郡保安局の刑事ジム・バクスター（マレック）はディークの経験と鋭い勘を認め、彼と組んで捜査を進めることにする。だがディークと共に容疑者（レト）を追っている間も、バクスターは気付かなかった。捜査がディークの暗い過去を掘り返し、不穏な秘密が暴かれていることに。そしてその余波はディークの事例だけに留まらないことにも。 The Little Things © 2020 Warner Bros. 評価とレビュー

The acting in this movie is great, it sometimes comes up short in story. The ending also left something to be desired. At full price it's not worth it, but on sale it's a must grab.

Save your money. Nothing of note happens in this movie. You have an emotionally wounded cop and a witty serial killer. If you are hard of hearing and still want to watch this, turn on close captions so you hear the whispering in the morgue and other scenes.

It was missing something, great actors of course, but the storyline didn't build properly to make an strong emotional impact and reason.
