I didn't want to watch the second movie because the first was so bad, but I did watch it because I like one of the actors in it, so sue me. This one was just a disaster, its like they knew the first one was bad so they just said F*@k it and tried to mash different books together and just let the movies crash and burn. I'm writing this in 2018 because it was so bad I still think about the hole in my heart the disappointment left from watching this movies. 120% will never see this movie again. Books were great though.

If you're going to make a movie out of the book, make it follow the story line! There are billions of parts made wrong. 1: Tyson. Tyson is supposed to be a childish, dumb seeming, caring cyclops. Did I see any of that in the movie? NO. 2: They changed things way too much. Grover didn't disappear in DC. 3: The characters were poorly cast and did not fit the age. There is a lot more wrong, but I can't list it all. Everyone's like, appreciate the movie for a movie. NO

I read all the books which are AMAZING and are better than the movie, so i am mad about much they changed. 2 biggest problems:age difference and they didnt try as hard as they did with Harry Potter or other adaptations. The characters dont have their personality's. It is not the actors fault though it's the movie's. They got the camp okish, i liked the oracle i liked Grover and Hermes. For just a movie it gets a 3 or 4. They should fix it in a 3rd movie or redo it all, and they NEED to READ the books.
