Trouble-prone teen Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of school -- but that's the least of his problems. The gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology texts and into his life -- and they're not happy. Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now, Percy and his friends must return Zeus' stolen property and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

If your going to make the books into movies you need to make them the same don't change stuff just because you think its better. The books where amazing and you screwed the movie up. My 11 year old son who has every single book and has read them several times started complaining about the movie and everything you got wrong. now if a 11 year old kid is complaining about the movie you know you messed up big. Make the movies right if your going to make them if not then don't bother your just going to make people mad that you butchered the books!!!!!

THIS IS A BAD MOVIE. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE BOOKS WERE SO GREAT AND ADAPTED INTO THE MONSTORES MOVIES. THEY ALSO GOT SO MUCH WRONG.For one, Annabeth has blonde hair. And this director knew his mistake, so in Sea Of Monsters, he changed it. It's like he thought we could not tell the difference between,and for another, these actors look like they are twenty, when in the book they are twelve.For another, in the beginning of sea of monsters, there was a giant battle in the gym.That never happened.

I wanted to tear my eyes out after watching it. Ok so that might sound a little over kill but honestly it was terrible. It was nothing like the book. NOTHING. I was looking forward to so much and I was so let down. It's a disgrace and it physically hurts to watch it. When I read Percy Jackson for the first time I loved it. I still do and it helped me through hard times in my life. So hopefully you will understand how heart wrenching it was to see your childhood hero's story be butchered. Even if you get past how unlike the book it is it's still a terrible movie. Don't Watch It. EVER. You will regret it.
