This movie is a thrilled ride, keeps you on the edge of your seat! An amazing looked at the idea of identity. Beautiful art and cinematography. My only problem is that is not dub. I don't mind watching it sub but it makes it hard to introduce it to my friends. The dub exists, I don't understand why it wasn't released along side it. It's impossible to get it anywhere else, we waited so long for this to finally be available why not release the whole thing.

I watched this for the first time back in 2000. Since then ive purchased on vhs, dvd, and blu-ray. This is Satoshi Kon's best movie! He was granted creative control over the whole movie. This results in a superb experience where you start to lose track of reality vs fiction. Plus, the ending isn't easy to guess. If you are a fan of psychological dramas or Hitchcock, this movie is for you. Word of advice, you CAN'T watch this dubbed must be subbed. Otherwise you lose ALL of the background

I really enjoyed it! It was so suspenseful, I would love to find another anime/animated movie, just like it! It's so hard to find anime's this good, I was missing out by not watching this sooner.
