Kristen Stewart ("Twilight") stars as Maureen, a young American woman living in Paris who works as a high-fashion personal shopper for a celebrity (Nora von Waldstätten) and has the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. Reeling from the recent death of her twin brother, Maureen attempts to make contact with his spirit. Her efforts to reach him result in eerie messages from a mysterious source. French filmmaker Olivier Assayas ("Clouds of Sils Maria") wrote and directed this tense thriller which won the prize for Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival. - ( Original Title - Personal Shopper )

Notes et avis

A lot of the movie is in French. While the title includes English subtitles however the translation is "speaking in French" always. 😐 You'd miss big portions of the film and it's understanding because of this. English subtitles are translating only that what is spoken in English, not French 🤦
