For years, old Mr. Meacham has delighted local children with tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the Pacific Northwest woods. To his daughter Grace, a forest ranger, the stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete, a mysterious 10-year-old with no family or home, who claims to live in the woods with a giant green dragon named Elliot. With the help of 11-year-old Natalie, whose father owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to learn where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.

Not something I'd usually watch but bought it for my nephew as I heard it was a good story for kids. Great acting and it had a few emotional parts. The pace of the movie was good and the artwork and lighting of the dragon was stunning.

This film wasn't for me, I ended up doing odd bits around the house while I left my partner watching it & I jumped in & out as I got a bit bored with it.

Second time watching this must have been in a right mood the first time. Beautiful story full of sentiment. Well done even if it is a typical storyline
