Before Def Jam. this premiere venue gave early exposure to a host of then-budding comedians, including Bernie Mac, MoNique, Craig Robinson, Bill Bellamy, Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Carlos Mencia, and JB Smoove. Using a mix of rare standup footage and no-holds barred interviews with the comedians, this all-access documentary takes a look at the rise and fall of this legendary club and the man behind it all.
