One of my favorite movies of all time. I'll be honest - when my husband wanted to watch it, I kind of groaned and prepared for the worst. Get ready to laugh, cry, and be amazed at this movie. Hoffman steals the show with his knock out performance, unlike any character that I have ever seen him play. His acting range was beyond incredible, and I hate that we've lost such a talented actor. I'm so happy that we have this wonderful movie in our collection. It's a bit long, but completely worth every second! :D

The feel good moments where you see people indulging themselves into the music in the film. And how much of a tragedy it would be if the same music was taken away. Rock and roll fuels the energy in my loins and it's something I could definitely not live without.

I was hesitant to watch this, didn't think it would appeal. But I was interested because Philip Seymour Hoffman's in it. The music is great -storyline is actually interesting- it's different but worth the time to watch it. I will rent it again someday
