About this movie

Arriving at her new college, Beca (Anna Kendrick) finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca leads this a cappella singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions.

Being a highly educated profession, in the music sector... I was sickened by the way 'music' was being shown. The unresolving 'mash-up dj career' which the leading lady was chasing doesn't exist. Maybe to some extent... But a awful House/Proclaimers 'will we wall a thousand miles' made me wee myself a little bit. The programs she was 'using' looked laughable. This film is not good inspiration or insight to any budding dance music try hard. Anyone who rated this movie 5*.. Please set fire to yourself.

When my daughter brought this film to my attention I was like no way Glee on a movie scale but like dads do I reluctantly indulged into what now is mine my partners and childrens favorite family movie we watched it over and over quoting lines songs and dance steps with perfect timing. Rawkus moments the entire way momorable characters such as fat Amy or as you find out later turns out her real name is fat Patricia trust me you'll love this movie hope they don't make a part two because the title says it all.
