When ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, his son Tim (Justice Smith) embarks on a journey to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds), a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to work together, as Tim is the only human who can talk with Pikachu, they join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City—a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world— they encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe.

I watched and it was very good,it's CGI was stunning,all I don't like about this is the lack of the "The game feeling" in which you are just a young boy and you set out to be the Pokemon champion,the objective is repetitive,it is still very fun to play regardless,though this is supposed to tell the story of Detective Pikachu (I have not played the game myself),some people might not like this film but I sure do just for the nostalgia and looking at thePokemon I love as proper characters.

Offcourse an anime movie oops sorry || An live action based on anime-pokemon And everything realeated to anime is awosome I watched it in English in theters but it was so Much of enjoyment i wanted to see it in hindi But was not able to because My city pvr din,t phrchased it in hindi but i was able to see now in hindi and i am very happy #AWOSOMEMOVIE

I have watched it as I am a poke gamer I don't watch the anime as there was a thing that it was different from detective pikachu game 😊 as I recommend you to watch this film the actor who played as Tim I have seen his Jurassic world movie. Good
