In a desert city by the sea, Ash, Pikachu, and their friends meet the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, who can summon all sorts of things—including people and Pokémon—through its magic rings. The movie was very normal and felt dull compared to other pokemon movies this one scores the worst the story line was too childish and feels like an older move with better animation the writers had too much fun adding all the legendaries and pokemon and could of taken another approach i don't understand how people like this movie as it was a waste of my time i hope the next move with volcanion isn't as band and fixes the xy movies the company has not been giving the movie storyline 110% and rather 50% the past few movies and if renting this at least is a *BIG* mistake.

It was boring storyline of a Genie story, i think the only things i liked was the animation HD colors/art, and that there was more than 1 Legendary pokemon in it. Its the storyline that important to me when it comes to movies. So, i did'nt like this one at all. Sorry. Try harder next time. 👎

I was hesitant at watching a new Pokemon movie at first. However. It was like a loving trip down nostalgia lane. Having a massive battle between legendary Pokemon was bedazzling for the eyes. The story was predictable but very well played out and the animation was truly spectacular. If you're new to Pokemon then this is worth checking out. If you're an old hand at Pokemon then this is still worth checking out. You'll revel in the gigantic battles if nothing else.
