If you are looking for an all-star French cast then this film is for you. I think the film's strong point is the actors' performances. The directing was a bit too free-style for my taste, and there were one too many argument scenes which I found to be a bit irritating and repetitive. I personally prefer a more disciplined approach, but I can see how the style of the film may be appealing to some. Overall, I enjoyed this film, mostly for the performances by the actors. The storyline is dark and disturbing. Picture Law & Order SVU, focusing on the most gruesome of child abuse cases.

Poignant, shocking, funny, and utterly engrossing. One of my favorites. Excellent performances.
