POMPEII is set in the days leading up to the famous eruption of Mt Vesuvius, which destroyed the ancient city of Pompeii. Kit Harington (TVs Game of Thrones) stars as Milo, an enslaved gladiator, who must fight for his life in the arena every day. When Cassia (Emily Browning) enters his world and his heart, he must also fight his feelings for her a noblewoman who can never be his. That is until all the world is changed by a storm of ash and lava that will seal the city like a tomb. Now they must all fight to survive. Contantin Film International GMBH and Impact Pictures

Ratings and reviews

Main actor only had one facial expression accompanied by a weak story line. The 'action' felt badly choreographed and couldn't save this particular movie.

The only good thing about this movie is that eventually all the characters die. Thus (hopefully) guaranteeing that there will be no sequel.

This movie makes almost no sense until you realise the volcano IS the hero and it is trying to save the careers of these actors from what degenerates into total farce!
