Peter D'Souza lives in a small town in India. He is an idealistic and honest young man, and wants to serve his country by joining the army. He enlists in the army, and soon undergoes vigorous training under the hands of Major Chauhan. After the training, Peter and a group of commandos are assigned to combat terrorists who have hijacked a bus full of passengers. The commandos daringly rescue the passengers, however, Peter is gravelly wounded and loses his leg. He is honorably discharged from the army, and goes home to help his father run a small corner store. Subsequently, Major Chauhan receives an invitation to attend the marriage of Peter with his long-time girlfriend, Shirley, and accepts the invitation. Upon arrival in the town, Chauhan finds out that there is to be no marriage as Peter is dead. Chauhan is further shocked to find out that Peter's death was a homicide, as enraged gangsters who were unable to extort money from him, and decided to kill Peter. Chauhan now decides to avenge Peter's death, not realizing that he, himself, may not live to tell this tale.

Good movie but... Nana Patekar always adds his own style and attitude in all his movies. In some it is good but in this film and other films like Prakash Baba Amte it should not be there. Moreover songs are idiotic

this is superb .'and nana patekar and madhuri dixit amazing fighting characters with lobely classic acting by dimple kapadia. the training in army by nana sir ..glorified our tradition. Indian army . as well his feelings comes out .. great. this is super

I love my country and love my three forces which is indian ,navy,army, and air force.this is because of ,l have been conducted four years of training in sea cadet corps in South Mumbai, at Colaba, at major vetrinathan marg training ship jawahar ,under commodor Ravi Ahuja, in year (1996_2000)
