Robert Rodriguez presents a bold new chapter in the Predator universe. The film stars Oscar®-winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist) as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet... as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers - mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members - human "predators" that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.

I'm an avid Alien and Predator fan, and while I hate to say it; this movie is pretty bad. Unfortunately It goes against a lot of Predator lore and just has pretty bad acting. There were several cringe worthy moments. The entire plot was pretty bad to start with and seems like it was directed by a cheap SyFy director with too large of a budget. I would only recommend it to hard core fans.

This movie just wasn't that good. Very cheesy and no way in hell can touch the original. The script was absolutely horrid. Lines were cheesy as hell. Forgetful characters. Poor acting and Over the top voice change for the lead character. Only thing good were the predators because, well! they look badass but even they were not as cool and mysterious as the original predator. I was very, very disappointed with this other abysmal remake.

Killed off all the interesing actors off first so left with obvious pos poisoner Topher and roided piano player meh for boring, predictable cgi dark mess. P2 is still better, delivers on everything teased in original. Haters are blind to what they're missing.
