PRESERVATION is a relentless psychological thriller set in the decaying sprawl of rural America. A camping trip for newlyweds Mike and Wit takes an unexpected turn when they are joined by Mike's brother, Sean, a former marine. When their tent is stolen overnight and they are left without food or water, the brothers turn on each other. A random act of violence becomes a game of cat and mouse. A weekend in the woods becomes survival of the fittest. A young couple must survive their failing marriage. An Iraq veteran must survive his violent past. And Wit must outsmart the predators hunting their prey. Christopher Denham's second feature film is an unexpected and unflinching exploration of violence in the digital age.

Pissed me off! Lol I hate when characters do totally unrealistic stupid things. Come on! This movie was total garbage! Not scary at all. Not gory. Dumb. Glad i didn't waste money to watch it! It was on Netflix. The good reviews on this film are from lil kids... Enough said.

Not the most original idea for a film, but suspenseful and shocking. It was unfortunate that the ending didn't leave viewers on a more positive note.

I think the bigger picture was lost in viewer's need for high adrenaline fueled fear.... Maybe the kids next door should be inciting that fear... This movie was reminiscent of news reels showing kids beating bums and random acts of violence for entertainment alone. Scary because people are this messed up.
