This is very similar to the Stephen King movie 'Cujo', but with the Saint Bernard dog swapped out for a lion. It's not awful and if you are a fan of the movie Cujo, then you'll probably enjoy this as well. If you've never seen Cujo, then watch that instead of this. Even though it's older, it's still better.

A film where you root for the lions to kill everyone of the cast is not normally the sign of a good film. Don't trust the five star and please trust my one star! What was I thinking 😪
