Based on a true event - and the Brits are pretty good at keeping it close to the real story - this was an unknown event to me. I was enthralled with it! It doesn't look like anything but a gritty and unpleasant movie, but it hauls you in, you care about everyone in it, and the ending leaves you in tears! It is such an uplifting, feel-good movie, I can't believe I haven't caught up to this gem before now. Major talented cast along with first-rate production values makes this work a keeper!

After seeing this movie, I thought it was such an amazing film to watch! I really love how this film is both comedy and drama! PRIDE is the best film that I've this year because it shows that both gays and lesbians are being accepted!
