If you watch this as somewhat separate to Austen's P&P it's quite a good film. As an adaptation of the novel it is very poor. The portrayal of both Darcy and Elizabeth leaves a lot to be desired. Clearly the challenge of fitting the novel into a standard length film is too much.

Absolutely terrible. Struggled to get through this after watching the original last week. If you have read the book and watch the series, this is an absolute shocker.

This film is art! I have watched it so many times ive lost count! The artistry of every shot is exquisitte! one of the only period films that i have ever felt is relatable? Highly recommend
