Rudderless and unemployed, William Humphries accompanies a friend to a charity event hosted by the eccentric, gorgeous Princess Ithaca. In awe of her beauty, David bids his last remaining funds for a private dinner with her highness which develops into a whirlwind romance. Everything goes smoothly until William discovers that Ithaca is a real magical princess — from the fairy gowns, to the bluebirds that perch on her shoulder — she's the real deal. Unfortunately she's a princess with a curse, Ithaca's term as the Protector of all mythical creatures is ending and the creatures are beginning to get dangerous.
