After eight memorable seasons and a TV movie, audiences' favorite phony psychic detective is back on the case in "Psych 2: Lassie Come Home," starring original cast members James Roday Rodriguez, Dulé Hill, Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson, Corbin Bernsen, and Tim Omundson. After being ambushed on the job and left for dead, Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter (Omundson) has begun to see impossible things around his recovery clinic, prompting Shawn (Rodriguez) and Gus (Hill) to return to Santa Barbara to help. But the duo finds themselves unwelcome in their old city as they try to secretly crack a case that could have relationship-altering consequences.

The TV show was very good, at least the first 6 seasons. The movies just suck. I don't recommend. Boring.
