I watched the ending and since they were trying to copy the original, I would not even give it 5 stars based on the whole stupid film. Alfred Hitchcocks film is better than watching a pile of garbage made by a non scary director.

There was no need for this remake, especially since Hitchcock's original is as good as it's ever going to get. Also; Gus van sant's direction of this version has lost all tension and suspense and therefore becomes quite a boring thriller.
