About this movie

Paul Symmonds is Australia’s top suicide prevention specialist. He’s the toast of the psychological community and riding high on his success. But when five of his clients commit suicide in a one week period his reputation is thrown into question. Paul is unable to handle the sudden change in his status and the idea that he may not be the best. So he hires a documentary crew to follow him around as he attempts to clear his name.
Then the Psychology board forces Paul to attend sessions with a rival psychologist to determine if he’s mentally capable of resuming his work. Paul finds this humiliating and soon becomes convinced that this rival is after the top spot for himself. Paul goes after the rival, trying to expose him as the murderer of his clients. He enlists the help of a mentally unstable client who is obsessed with how great Paul is. Without the praise of the psychological community, this client is the only thing left to feed Paul’s ego.
But Paul’s obsession with exposing the rival costs him everything in his life. His wife leaves him. He’s forced to close his practice. And Paul is too self obsessed to notice the warning signs when his unstable client begins to spiral himself. Becoming the sixth client to kill himself. In the end, the only person benefiting from Paul’s spiral into madness is the director of the documentary. When he is called out for this, he must attempt to put Paul’s life back together in order for anyone to have a chance at redemption.
