Larry (Danny Masterston) and Rico (Ronnie Warner) are two hapless stoners who refuse to pay their rent, plan to get rich quick by selling tiny ads in the newspaper, and are obsessed with The Shawshank Redemption. Kicked out of their apartment, they decide to enter rehab solely to watch a cable broadcast of their favorite movie. After spending enough time to have sex with a fat girl and a religious fanatic, the two losers are tossed out of the center and onto the street. Needing money, they get involved in a scheme to rip off Mr. Big (Mekhi Phifer), a shady character who hires them to deliver a suitcase filled with valuable coins.
