About this movie

Frank Castle, former Marine and FBI agent now turned dedicated vigilante, begins a path of destruction through violent criminals across the country. After Castle kills a powerful mafia don, a previously exiled under-boss named Billy Russo returns to New York. Russo (eager to take control of the criminal underworld) convinces the remaining mob leaders that he can kill Castle, AKA the Punisher. The struggle turns in to a three-way battle when FBI agent Stephanie West aims to take both Castle and Russo off the streets. Ratings and reviews

A bit over the top compared to the second remake, and a great deal more unnecessary gore (such as micros mum with only half a head), also. I think the jig saw character was way too much as the physical scares he showed could easily have been less metaphorical and more actual e.g. emotional or financial, and still carried as much weight. His becoming jig saw, was a ham-fisted plot point which didn't add anything at all to the character.

The best Punisher I have seen.
