Everyone's favourite leche-loving, swashbuckling, fear-defying feline, Puss in Boots, returns in a new adventure from the Shrek universe as the daring outlaw discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star on his grandest quest yet. With only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: Kitty Softpaws. They are joined in their journey by a chatty and cheerful mutt named Perro. Together, our trio of heroes will need to stay one step ahead of the fairy tale realm's craftiest crooks including Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Within the first ten minutes, this movie rose to my top tier list, which completely surprised me. Beautifully animated with every frame worthy of being put on a wall, this movie is everything that a good film should be: hilarious, with gorgeous action sequences, well thought-out dialogue, cunning plot, and hard-hitting villains. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow ! Dreamsworks has always been good with sequels and I think it is safe to say this might be their best sequel to date . Without giving much of the plot there are many new characters and fairy tales introduced here and they actually help elevate the story alongside with being so cute ,loveable and hilarious .

No one asked this movie to be this good, yet I got so invested so gosh darn quick, and the art style choices, perfect, using a reduced frame rate to the advantage of the animation making the imagery so much more impactful in the action scenes. 10/10.
