Several hours have passed since the terrible events that ravaged the old building in Barcelona. After the chaos of the first few moments, elite soldiers infiltrated the building to put an end to this nightmare once and for all. They thought the mission was a success. Angela Vidal, the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman just hours before, manages to make it out alive - but no one knows that within her she carries the seed of the strange infection. When she is taken to quarantine, the high-security isolation facility becomes the perfect breeding ground for the virus to be reborn and mutate into even more deadly forms, setting the scene for unimaginable horrors. The apocalypse has just begun...

Hinnangud ja arvustused

REC 4 takes place immediately after [•rec]², and much like REC 3 the story & tone are taken in a completely different direction. The movie resorts to terrible CGI instead of practical effects, the acting is awful, the story is awful, just everything is bad. It's also not even shot with the camcorder style like REC 3. Honestly the best parts were when footage from the first film were shown. Just don't watch REC 4!

this one and the third "rec" were atrocious compared to the first two. no need to deviate from a working formula. the infected folk are what kept me from cutting the movie off.

Rec 3.. the infected people were possessed and now in this Rec 4, it's a parasite? WTF? How does that even happen? Absolutely no connections..
