I rigged my very analog/manual Akai tape recorder, using Scotch's longest tape, to record mono tracks, getting 12 hours on one tape. I would listen to them later, then later by years...loaned them to a buddy, and he recorded LP's over all of them. I went to the Fly-In, where Bob had told us we had to be there by mid-night. Drove down from Connecticut, was running late, parked in the lot and ran to the terminal. Came thru the door, everyone cheered me, the late guy, all eyes on me. ThankYou BOB!
