Accidentally rented this from a redbox before I looked up its rotten tomatoes rating. Its review rating is horrible, I think it's less than 10%. I watched about 25 minutes before turning this movie off. It's awful. Cheaply made, horrible production quality. This should be like a straight to lifetime channel movie. Nick Cage you have burned me for the last time, I still love you but I will never rent another one of your movies unless I know without a doubt that It's awesome

Anti-climactic. Daughter dies in the beginning. More people die as a result. Cage never really lives up to the "Rage" aspect of his character. A simple taste from his ghost rider rage-filled persona would have been more appropriate. "Let the police do their job..." Wouldn't they have seen an obvious fabrication in the original crime scene done up by two drunk, adolescent teenagers? The plot and character development were a bit shallow. Random, unaffiliated people die as a result of one obvious lie from a 17 year old boy. "Let the police do there job..." That lie said over and over is the real story here, that if the police inside the movie had been more attentive to the crime scene, then all would have been well and only one stupid drunk teenager would have been revenge-murdered by Nicholas Cage and this movie would be a short, no longer than 20 necessary minutes and this critic wouldn't have so much guilt knowing he can never get that 98 minutes back from watching this terrible movie.

Terrible acting, I usually get into Cage movies but this was just bad. I wasted my time watching it, not gonna waste anymore writing about it other than it wasn't good. 2 stars because I made it to the end.
