Sigurd is an archaeologist who is fascinated by a Viking ship found at the Oseberg burial mound. He believes that a runic inscription on the ship, which translates to “man knows little,” holds the key to understanding the Norse myth of Ragnarok: the day when heaven and earth are destroyed. After finding similar inscriptions on a stone in Northern Norway, Sigurd, along with his kids and a colleague, begin an expedition to uncover the secret of the day of doom. A discovery beyond their imagination awaits!

Nowhere in the description of this movie does it say that it is not in English and thoroughly sub-titles. The trailer is in English so I believed so was the movie. I don't care how good the special effects might be because I'm too busy reading sub titles to appreciate them. If I wanted to read a story I would buy a book! Don't put the trailer in English if the movie is in another language! Thanks Google Play for wasting my money.

Great soundtrack, decent acting, and beautiful scenery. This was a really well shot movie, also - - great framing and variety of angles. I love me some fantastical creatures, and this one didn't disappoint. It could have gotten more screentime. Yes, the movie has subtitles -- It's a foreign film. If you're looking for a fantasy movie to scoop you out of your reality for 90 minutes, this is a good choice.

The way some of the reviews went, I thought it might be a "B-Movie" but this just wasn't at all. Really great action, acting, photography and premise. Tasteful effects that aren't afraid to show off later in the film. I found it really good, and better than most of what came out in American cinema this summer. Don't be afraid of the subtitles. I showed it to an audience who doesn't normally like subs, but they were still engaged.
