Raise Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins tells the story of media firebrand Molly Ivins, six feet of Texas trouble who took on the Good Old Boy corruption wherever she found it. Her razor-sharp wit left both sides of the aisle laughing, and craving ink in her columns. She knew the Bill of Rights was in peril and said "Polarizing people is a good way to win an election and a good way to wreck a country." Molly's words have proved prescient. Now it's up to us to raise hell!

Molly Ivins is incredible. As a young person that wasn't able to read or hear her when she was alive, this documentary is a great overview of her life. For the most part, it channels its view of politics through Molly herself; the only critique I have is that, for example, when you have modern commentators referring to 'progressives' of the time, it feels more like a vehicle of modern politics than a documentary true to its subject. Otherwise, it's a superb film about an amazing woman!

Wonderful movie - funny, very funny, but also informative and moving. Molly Ivins was one of a kind, larger than life, and the movie does a wonderful job of showing you her life and times.

A great documentary -- of an amazing, true public servant. The subject was a one of a kind individual who told the truth in very entertaining ways. Quite a social and history lesson, and very inspiring.
