It's not terrible, but it's not a Rambo movie. To quote my son who summed it up nicely: "I'm almost 30 minutes into this movie and he hasn't even shot anyone yet. That's like a third of the movie in! It's like Taken if you had to watch people standing around talking for an hour and a half first *then* Liam Neeson actually did something."

Great ending to a saga that should've ended at Rambo Part 3. Sylvester looks tired and although refreshed around the face a little, he still has a great presence on screen. Who knows there may be another one...seems to be the theme with many movies lately. Or those re-makes that just should NOT be touched.

Appalling racism, misogyny and totally expected everything. Such a bad movie. No wonder the original makers were embarrassed to be a part of the namesake. But as long as you know all that you get exactly what you expect, no problem There is literally nothing redeemable about this movie. In that sense what have you got to lose.
