This affecting drama from Academy Award® winner Sydney Pollack (Out Of Africa, Tootsie) stars Harrison Ford as Dutch Van Den Broeck, a detective in the Washington D.C. police department who meets congresswoman Kay Chandler (Kristin Scott Thomas) when both his wife and her husband are killed in a plane crash. The tragedy is compounded when the investigation uncovers shocking information about their spouses' relationship. The newly revealed facts that they sat side by side with "Mr. and Mrs." tickets and identical hotel keys in their pockets bring together the otherwise incompatible pair of survivors, they are from dissimilar backgrounds and of contradictory temperaments, to sort out their painful feelings.
