Rangoon movie is set against the never-before explored Burmese community in North Chennai and is a thrilling action-drama about the friendship of Gautham Karthik, Lallu and Daniel Annie Pope. Lallu recommends Gautham Karthik to Siddique for a job in the latterÕs jewellery shop. Siddique, who is into smuggling illegal goods, gets impressed by Gautham KarthikÕs enthusiasm and assigns him more jobs. The trio gets betrayed during a high-value gold deal in Burma.
